Hamburger Bed
He sure looks comfortable being part of the Hamburger. Lol...I find this funny rather than freaky. Maybe they should 'upsize' this burger and double the patty.narrative food diary by ah Teo at 2:50 PM 2 connoisseur(s)

Would you eat this?
Looks insanely good. But I doubt that I can finish one of this sandwich myself. Found this website by accident so I thought of sharing this. You could submit your own pictures like certain visual food community. I actually find some of the pictures mouth watering. ;oP

Care Bears Marshmallow Pops!
I have translated the instructions from Dutch to English: You can start by chewing from ears, followed by the head, then the belly, then the arms/paw.... argh!!!! Once you finished the whole bear, your body can almost feel the sugar overloading on all your senses! Everything you hear or speak now is in Care Bear language. Care Bear Stare!!

Halloween: Mutant Pumpkins & Jumpy Yolk
It is that time of the year when the bright orange squashes make special appearances at supermarkets like Jasons Market Place and you know Halloween is just around the corner. I spotted these oddly shaped pumpkin at Raffles City.
They reminded me of a butt. Two butts in fact. Lol. There are other weird and interesting shapes of pumpkins which seemed to be mutated because of some chemical imbalance in the soil or something else. There is also this giant pumpkin which costs S$169.00!! I did not check to see how much did this giant weigh but I read on the papers that a farmer who harvested a 697kg pumpkin was this year's winner for some pumpkin competition. And that was not a record breaker. Freaky.
My friend ordered the half boiled egg and pushed one of the egg yolk to the side but it actually jumped out. The yolk was pretty sturdy because it did not break so we decided to use toothpick to see if it breaks. It didn't. What a strong egg yolk. :o)

Perla's Pastry Boutique
I popped over to next door to see if they have anything else that I might have missed. I find it rather out of the ordinary that they have a wine cellar within this pasticceria. The big bottles of wine had renewed my interest and fascination with this place and when inquired, the service staff pointed to a huge bottle of wine next to the cash register which she thought I might be interested.
Unbelievable.
27 freaking litres of wine in a bottle 3 times taller than my head. They had used a regular sized red wine bottle as a comparison. Woah... As my hands were shaking with excitement, hence the blurred photo.
This is the La Togata Brunello Di Montalcino, 2001 being produced in a 27-litre bottle. I do not have the full name of this particular full bodied wine so excuse the shortened name. There are only 5 bottles available in the whole world and one of them is in front of me as it was exclusively brought in by Valentino.
I believe that this is not a dream. I also believe that the price is beyond expensive too. Lol...

Olive Green's Corn Ware
It was unintentional that my recent posts were in green. It is, however, the trend now to go green and be environmentally friendly. Speaking of which, a 'green' discovery was made down the aisles of Meidi-ya.
Ta-dah!!! Olive Green's Corn Ware! It is made from Corn and Yam and I wonder if the plates are edible. Lol...after reading more info about this disposable plate, I still find it unbelievable.
Maybe the soup or gravy will leak from this plate and make it mushy and soft. Maybe it will just disintegrate in your hand while u are holding it!! Maybe I am thinking too much. :o|

Bintan Trip
I was surprised at the quality of food provided even though they had specified that the seafood was not "fresh" ones. Sun Moon Restaurant is kelong restaurant above the sea which is connected to the main beach by a bridge. We ordered quite a number of dishes to share.
Food at this place called Melayu Square is absolutely delicious!! I liked the roti canai, grilled squid, fried rice, ayam penyet and teh tarik a lot but did not take photos because it was too dark.
Other than that, I am willing to endure the travelling to go back again!
Mmmm.....Bintan....

Square Watermelon from Marketplace
This is one friggin' expensive watermelon. I found this one and only square watermelon all alone at Paragon's Marketplace. It was imported from Japan and costs $50.
Hmmm...I wonder if the seeds are squarish too.
